General
|
| 1. Mozie, huh? |
|
Mozie was designed to ease the pain and expense when creating a web presence -
for work or play. So we built a simple drag and drop online tool suite that
allows you to do just that. Upload images & graphics to your Capture
galleries, then send them out in a free .pix eCard, create a .pixPro
e-mail campaign or build a custom .pixSite. Communicate, express or
market yourself however you desire. Connect with friends, share your photo
galleries, create a party invite, promote an event - sky's the limit!
|
| Some facts: the
system that we have created is a photo rich site. When you create an eCard or
web page with the .pix interface, the finished product is one solid image. You
will not see a link change color when you roll over it, but the links are still
there imbedded in the image and work flawlessly. Also, the text you include on
your .pixSite is not searched by search engines because it is one solid
graphic. Web spiders can't see text within a graphic. mozie will be adding some
features in the future that will allow for search engine optimization. |
 |
| 2. Where do I start? |
| Once you
register and click the e-mail verification link, you can really start anywhere.
You can upload your jpegs from any of the product pages - but Capture allows
you to see the slideshow and photo page links for galleries you create. Those
images will then be available to use in .pix, .pixPro and .pixSite.
mozie also has a growing library of images that you can use on the site - so
just click on any of the product pages and jump right in! |
 |
| 3. Is mozie free? |
| mozie is free to
join (and hassle free we might add)! There is a combination of free products
and products you have to pay for. Please see our
pricing chart for all the details. |
 |
| 4. Is mozie a social networking site? |
| No. We will be
adding features and tools in the near future that will allow sharing options,
but those features will offer a "private sharing" system. Simply put, you share
directly with whom you want and NOT to an extended network. |
 |
| 5. What is Capture? |
| Capture is
your photo management system. Upload your images and organize them into
galleries. Add optional keywords and captions for later searches. Capture
automatically gives you slideshow and photo page links so you can easily share
your photos. Every jpeg you upload will show up in your .pix, .pixPro
& .pixSite photo strip so you can drag and drop them into your
canvas for e-mailing or building a webpage. You get 20mb of free monthly
bandwidth and a total of 50mb of space. You can upgrade your Capture account
in blocks. Each block is $29.99/year gives you 1GB of monthly bandwidth and
500mb of space. |
 |
| 6. What is .pix? |
It's a FREE
custom eCard. It's an easy way to say a quick hello or send a formal invite
with your personalized touch. Use your own photos or choose from our growing
library of unique, cool shots. Add an optional RSVP or Comment Page. You can
reach up to 200 people at a time with one .pix.
Ideal for: a quick hello or "thinking of you" message, online invitation or
birthday card, or just share your latest, greatest snapshot. |
 |
| 7. What is .pixPro? |
.pixPro is
a cost effective, easy way to send out completely personalized e-mail
campaigns. NO TEMPLATES. NO ADS. Custom sized pages designed by you that
feature your own photos, art, graphics and text. It's an excellent way to reach
out to your entire mailing list or family and friends. If you don't know html
code or photoshop and need a professional looking newsletter, you're in the
right place include an RSVP or Comment Page too all in minutes!
Ideal for: invitations, event reminders, announcements, newsletters and more.
|
 |
| 8. What is a .pixSite? |
Create a
website, for temporary or permanent use - in minutes! Use your own art and
pictures to promote an event, showcase photos or just build a personal webpage
- as many pages as you want. It's simple, fast, custom made and STILL won't
empty your wallet.
Ideal for: a party, an event, temporary or permanent web presence. Great for
family sites too!
|
 |
| 9. What browsers are compatible with mozie? |
We've noticed
that mozie seems to work on most browsers, but the ones we program for are the
latest versions of:
Safari
Firefox
Internet Explorer
|
 |
| 10. I received an email telling me that my mozie
account was in bad standing and that you needed account information. What's
this about? |
Always practice
safe internet and e-mail protocol by never logging into your online accounts
through an e-mail link. Instead, log into the website by opening the browser
and typing in the address through the tool bar. There are many "phishers" out
there looking to get your personal information by sending deceiving e-mail
posing as a site like mozie. We will never send you an e-mail asking for
personal information and we will always instruct you to follow the above noted
protocol.
Please delete any such e-mail and let us know about it at
abuse@mozie.com. |
 |

 |
Email Delivery
|
| 1. How can I make sure my .pix & .pixPro e-mails don't end up in spam
filters? |
| In order to
increase delivery rates, make sure the e-mail address you signed up with is in
the Contact Manager or on the safe list of all of your recipients. If you are
using an unfamiliar e-mail address, their spam filter may block it.
|
 |
| 2. Does mozie guarantee that all of my recipients will receive my .pix &
.pixPro campaigns? |
| Unfortunately,
it is impossible to guarantee 100% delivery (no one can). mozie works with all
of the major ISP's to guarantee the highest delivery rate, but it is also up to
you (the sender) to make sure that your recipients have your e-mail address in
their Contact Managers and on their safe lists.. |
 |
| 3. Why can't my recipients see the images in the .pix or .pixPro I sent them? |
| This may be due
to their e-mail settings. They may not be able to see html e-mail. mozie
includes a text link at the top of each e-mail stating "If images are not
displayed, click to view online" so that the recipient can still see your
e-mail online by launching their broswer. |
 |
| 4. Why are some of the recipients of my .pix & .pixPro campaigns
bouncing? |
| Bounces happen
for many reasons, including: recipient e-mail is no longer valid, the e-mail
address is not complete, the recipient mailbox may be full or the recipient
mail server may be down. You can see which recipients have bounced by checking
the Campaign Stats page. |
 |
Spam/Abuse
|
| 1. What is SPAM? |
| Spam is
unsolicited commercial email (UCE), junk mail or bulk mail that has not been
requested by the recipient. |
 |
| 2. What are the mozie's SPAM rules, regulations? |
| Mozie has a zero
tolerance spam policy. Spam complaints are taken very seriously. Users that
breach Mozie's Terms of Service will have
their account deleted at their own expense. When registering, Users agree to
the following: |
-
He/she will not access or otherwise use third-party mailing lists in connection
with preparing or distributing unsolicited email to any third party.

He/she will not send unsolicited bulk email, for commercial or non-commercial
purposes.
-
He/she will only upload permission based e-mail lists that Member has been
granted permission to use by each email recipient included on such list.
|
| Please review
mozie's Anti-Spam Policy. |
 |
| 3. What does mozie do to prevent spam to recipients? |
-
Mozie strictly enforces the Terms of Service,
which clearly states that only permission-based e-mail is allowed. This means
that Informed Consent was used when adding the recipient to the mozie Users
contact list; the recipient e-mail address was not purchased; the recipient
e-mail address was not obtained through a third party.
-
Mozie includes an unsubscribe link on the footer of every e-mail. If an e-mail
recipient chooses to unsubscribe, their e-mail address is immediately made
inactive in the mozie Users contact manager.
-
A valid postal address must be included in every e-mail sent by mozie Users.
-
The User's verified valid e-mail address is shown to the recipient as the
"reply to" address.

|
 |
| 4. How can I report spam abuse to mozie? |
| Please e-mail
abuse@mozie.com. |
 |

| If your e-mail
recipients have reported you as sending spam through our system, we immediately
suspend your account until we can resolve the issue. If you have been
unresponsive to our efforts to contact you, your account will remain suspended
or we will delete it. Please see our Terms of Service.

Help/Support Questions

Capture Help
|
| 1. Capture, what? |
| Capture is
your photo management system. You can upload your images and organize them into
galleries, then add optional keywords and captions for later searches. Capture
automatically gives you slideshow and photo page links so you can easily share
your photos.
 |
| 2. How can I upload photos? |
| From the Capture
main page, just click "Add Images". You can create a gallery first if you want
to apply new images to a specific gallery when uploading. You can add optional
titles, tags and captions that can be edited at any time. |
 |
| 3. How can I add a gallery? |
| From the Capture
main page just click on "Add Gallery". Enter the name in the "name new gallery"
box and click "create". |
 |
| 4. How can I rename a gallery? |
| From the Capture
main page select the gallery you would like to rename. Rename the gallery and
click on "update". You can also rename a gallery on the "Add Gallery" page.
Select the gallery, enter the new name and click "rename". |
 |
| 5. How can I add images to a gallery? |
| For new images
you are uploading, make sure you select the gallery name from the dropdown menu
before you click upload. If the image is already in your library, click on the
image and a new page will load. You will see the edit features below the image
where you can edit the details, apply or remove the image to different
galleries. Just click update and the changes will be made. |
 |
| 6. How can I change the order of images in a gallery? |
| Unfortunately
you cannot change the order of images in your gallery at this time. The images
are displayed by the most recent image that is uploaded. We will be adding more
edit features very soon. |
 |
| 7. How can I change image titles, captions or tags? |
| Click on the
image and a new page will load. You will see the edit features below the image
where you can edit the details, apply or remove the image to different
galleries. Just click update and the changes will be made. |
 |
| 8. How many photos can I upload? Can I pay to upload more photos? |
| It depends on
how large your file sizes are. We recommend that you format them for web size
(no larger than 1000 pixels in height or width). We're working on an
auto-sizing applet and we'll let you know when it's ready. You get 20mb of free
monthly bandwidth and a total of 50mb of space. You can upgrade your Capture
account in blocks. Each block is $29.99/year gives you 1GB/monthly bandwidth
and 500mb of space.
|
 |
| 9. What is it taking so long for my photos to upload? |
| If you have a
lot of images or if the images are large in size, it will take longer to
upload. For quicker uploads, try doing smaller batches or make sure the images
are optimized for web size (usually no larger than 1000 pixels in height or
width). Keep in mind that the smaller the size of the image files, the more
images you can upload because they will use less bandwidth and storage. |
 |
| 10. Will my photos ever be deleted or lost? |
| If you delete
your account, your photos will also be deleted. Free accounts that have not
been active for 12 months will be deleted. Any account that has an active paid
Capture membership will never have photos deleted as long as the account
remains in good standing.
|
| mozie takes
every measure to make sure that accounts in good standing will never have
photos lost, but we strongly advise that you back up all images in another
form. mozie is not meant to serve as an online storage solution, but as a tool
that allows you to share your images. |
 |
| 11. Can I use any of the images in the mozie galleries for my mozie e-mail
campaigns and .pixSite web pages? |
| Yes. We've built
these galleries just for that use. But please note use of mozie images is
limited to products you use ONLY on mozie. Please see
Terms of Service agreement. |
 |
| 12. Can anyone access my photos once I upload them to mozie? |

are private unless you choose to share your Slideshow or Photo Page links. When
adding galleries in your Capture management screen, the Slideshow and Photo

 |
| 13. How can I submit images to mozie for other to use? |
| In Capture,

ensure that you are the legal copyright owner and if the image is something we
think other users would like to use.
|
 |
| 14. I submitted an image to mozie. Why is it not in the mozie gallery? |
| First - we'd
like to thank you for your submission. However, we do not accept all images. We
may not be accepting certain types of photos or we may not be able to confirm
